Cromarty House and Gardens

Cromarty House, above and to the east of the village had walled gardens at the foot of the brae, between the brewery and the bowling club. In the early part of the 20th century, these walled gardens were well laid out and carefully tended. Part of the enclosure was used as a market garden.
