On Leave in Cromarty - 1942

Vairi says:- "My dad, Albert Marks, in his Naval uniform home on leave in Cromarty during 1942. We believe the others are Sammy Hossack in the middle and Ewan Gillies (RAF) on the right."

Good to see this photo Vairi, thats my Dad, Sammy Hossack in the middle. I think at this time he worked for a cable jointing company called Henleys, and this was a 'reserved occupation'. I remember hearing the name Biddy Marks, any connection?

Yes Vairi ...I would also be interested if there is any connection to Biddy and Winnie Marks ?

Ewan Gillies looks like a film star! The Gillies are a handsome family.
