Another memory is of Kenny eating rabbit that he'd caught the previous day and that my gran had cooked. He made such a performance of it that my soon to be wife left the room and has never eaten rabbit since!

Great to see my late Dad not far from his usual haunt the pier normally with his fishing rod and one or two locals along side catching one or two flatties for tea. A trip to the Royal Hotel before going home for a pint and a wee dram was the way to end the days fishing.

The pic must have been taken in the early 1980s, as my Dad took ill and sadly passed away on the third of August 1990. I miss him so much.

I've not got any recent photos of my late grandad. good to see one of him as I remember him, especially near the pier.
