George Taylor Jnr with Grandfather Taylor at Davidston Farm 1956
Picture added on 30 May 2005
Doing renovations to the Wellington House basement we have found written on the back of the pitch pine steps "24 Bds[boards?]Taylor, Cromarty" written in beautiful big copperplate writing which is similar to that which I am showing to my class as typically the writing style taught to Victorian children. There are so many Taylor contributions on the website;do we have a carpenter or timber dealer in anyone's family tree? The strange thing is that the person who removed the board and found the writing is another Mr Taylor living in Cromarty !
