I hate to be an anorak, but were Mini's around as early as 1960?

Minis were first built in 1959. The first date specific registrations, of the form ABC123A came out in August 1962, so this one must been registered between '59 and '62.

My nan lived in church Street in that year maybe her daughter too. Nan was Isobella May Duff and her daughter Jessie Duff I think it was 31 or 32 does anyone remember them? My dad lived there earlier Roderick and his father of the same name
