I spent a summer as a student salmon netter at Cromarty in the late 60's with another student called Duncan Craig. We befriended Jerry, who that summer was fishing Eathie Station single-handed. We had many adventures together and remained friends for years afterwards. Jerry was a "character" and a man of many talents.
