Tattie Picking behind the West Church -c1950

In the field where Townlands Park now stands this group are posing with grapes (forks) and baskets. Behind them are some corrugated iron sheds which can be seen from the other side in picture #111.

In the middle with the eyepatch is Wullie Mcphee, but who are the others?

I believe Willie lost an eye breaking a large stone when a chip shot up - or so my father told me.
A hard working man in his time and I remember him as roadman around Cromarty in the 50's.

Wasn't there a gentleman with only one hand name of Mcphee? Would it be Wullie's brother?
