Oh man! Is this Mrs Newell the primary school teacher (and church organist by the way!)? I absolutely owe anything I have achieved in life to her, 'Hairy-Harry' the headmaster ... and ... yep ... even Miss McKay or 'Kisey-Kipper' to those who knew and feared her! Ha ha.

Had the honour of meeting Mrs Newell on our visit in August 2010 to Cromarty. She is 102 and didn't look a day over 80! She was telling us how she used to play as a child in the yard opposite her home which is now a Masonic Lodge.
