Clem Watson, aged 14, with the rope. George Ferguson, Evan Ferguson the Postman’s son at the tiller. Boat ‘dead slow’, so as I could put the rope ashore, and run along the gunwale for an astern stop!

It was always a treat for us as kids to go to Invergordon for the games on the boat. We were always scared that on the day of the games the weather might be bad!!!
