The lighthouse and Reay House

From my grandmother's album. Taken in either 1931 or 1932 when she stayed in Cromarty with my father. Her husband was a Naval Officer, commanding HMS Repulse that was anchored in the Firth. My father (aged 7 or 8) remembers playing on the cannons. As a family, we spent many summers in Cromarty from the late 1960's but no one could remember the guns being there.
