I think the girl on the back left is Violet MacLean, my aunt.

Irene Mackenzie(middle back row) was the girl who
took me on my first day to school in 1940!Margaret Hives I clearly remember(left, front)along with her sister Abbe Hives (right front).
Both Abbe & another sister Elisa, worked with
Matheson ,Grocer in the 40's, as well as helping
their Mother with the 'Showies' in the Factory
Buildings,in the evenings.All the Hives girls had
the most beautiful natural red hair. Taking a long look at the photo, the rear right could be Elisa

Extreme right, front is Abbe Hives, immediately behind her could be Elisa Hives, another sister.
Irene Mackenzie took me to school, when I started in December 1940, gas mask and all, plus frequent
air raid shelter visits interrupting lessons.
