Alexandra Norton ms Watson

My father and brothers(Watson) were born at 5 Braehead in the early 1920s. The family also lived at 3 Braehead. We are connected to the Reid family formerly of 7 and 9 Braehead. The by name "Oban" is meant to be linked to our Watson ancestry.Does anyone know of this byname?
