Thank you for this wonderful website which gives us a glimpse of the way of life of my husband's ancestors, the Finlaysons of Cromarty, Scotland. What a treasure! And yes, many generations later, his late father Ralph Anderson of northern Illinois looked very much like the photos of his Scot cousins, curly hair and all!
